During New Year’s Eve a lot of people vow themselves that they will take care of their mental health seriously and will meditate everyday but after a few weeks if not days, they have already quit the habif of Meditation. But why does this happen? And how can you stick to Meditation everyday? Here are a few reasons because of which people fail to stick with Meditation everyday:

1. It’s Boring

Yes. It’s fucking boring. You’ll be frustrated if someone forced you to sit silent for 10 minutes in your class and will curse that person but you’ll still do it because they are an authority figure whereas you fail to do it yourself because you lack accountability. The best way stay consistent is to get a habit tracker or just cross the calender on the days that you meditated. Or just tell your girlfriend to force you to mediate everyday. That would work like a charm.

2. Lack of Visible Results

You’ll be able to see visible muscles after a few months of working out but that’s not the case with Meditation. You might do meditation for months and still not see any visible and since humans are visual creatures and seeing visible growth motivates us. You won’t be see any visible results, but you’dd definitely be able to feel it if you stick to it for a long time. So, the best advice, I can give you is “just show up to the practice”. Just show up everyday and forget about the results and I promise you that you’ll see results after 60 days of consistent meditation.

3. You Don’t Need To Meditate for Hours

What most people think is they need to meditate for hours just like the monks do in the mountains. But you just can’t leave all your work to go and meditate on the mountains. You only need to do 10 minutes of get the full benefits of it. It doesn’t needs to be hours of meditation. Just 10 minutes from your busy 24 hours and your Mental Health will transform incredibly.

Hope this helps you stay consistent with meditation.
