How many times have you heard this advice of “Just believe in yourself”. On the surface, this advice might sound realistic, achievable and something everyone should follow.

But most people have a hard time following this advice. Do you know why?

Because it doesn’t meet with the data you have about yourself. You don’t believe in yourself because you haven’t done anything worthwhile. You might think what the fuck are you saying?

So, Let me tell you in simple words.

Until you have tangible proof that you have done some shit, you won’t be able to do that shit. But until you do that shit you won’t have tangible proof that you can do it.

For example, You will never consider yourself as an Instagram influencer until and unless you have a following of at least 10k on Instagram.

People might say just believe in yourself. But you can’t believe in yourself because you don’t see any results.

So, What should you do? How do you do your work when you don’t believe in yourself?

Well, that’s the catch 101: You can do the work without even believing in yourself. Here’s how:

Remove Feelings from Your Mind

But you will say that human beings are emotional creatures and they can’t remove feelings. But in this case, you need to.

Because if you don’t remove your feelings and just do the work. You’ll never have tangible proof that you can do the work. And if you never have tangible proof you’ll never “Believe in Yourself”.

That’s why doing the work irrespective of doubting if this is going to work is the most crucial factor in you winning in life.

And when you start seeing tangible results that “YES! You can do some shit”. Then only your belief in yourself will become stronger. Not before that.

So, Just do the work despite your feeling that you won’t be able to do it. Self-doubt will always be a part of your life. But don’t let it paralyze your action-taking skills.
