My Friend Became a Top Writer on Medium

It was in the year 2020 when a girl started a conversation with me asking me how to grow on Instagram because back then I had built a small amount of following there.

So, We had some conversations. We were both into Copywriting. So, we kind of vibed together. When she was frustrated when her content wasn’t performing. I used to be her personal coach.

In the last 2 years, we had a lot of conversations on life, religion, politics, books, reading, selling, copywriting, and self-improvement. You name the topic and we had some kind of conversation on it.

She had helped me like a million times and I have too. She helped me get my first job. I helped her launch her first book.

And some time ago, She decided to start writing on Medium, and when I watched her write content consistently on Medium. It kind of motivated me to start writing inline.

And I also did the same. And today she shared a story where she told that she has become a Top Writer on Medium in the Self-Improvement niche.

And I don’t know. This win just felt so personal. It just felt like I won. It’s kind of a weird feeling but I felt like her small win is my win.

And she doesn’t know that I was making this post. It would be a surprise for her. I didn’t plan on writing this but I thought of writing about it in my Journal.

So, I thought why not write a post about it on Medium instead. So, Here you are Renuka. I’m proud of you. I’m proud to share that my friend has made it as a top writer on Medium.

And I think it’s a small win and you have much more bigger wins to witness in the future. So, All the best to you, and just know that I’ll stick with you through thick and thin.
