Monk Mode was a protocol developed by Iman Gandhi. He turned a millionaire when he has 19 years old and makes a lot of money running his Social Media Agency and he credits his success to this protocol.

But what is Monk Mode?

Do you really need to become a Monk to go into Monk Mode?

Monk Mode is a period of intense focus where you completely focus on your goals without doing any such activity which doesn’t move the needle.

And in this article, I’ll be sharing a step-by-step guide to getting on Monk Mode and getting the best out of it.

Mindset

First, Let’s get the Mindset right Monk Mode isn’t anything magical that will transform your life It is a system that allows you to do focused work for a long period of time.

Just focus on doing the work and you’ll successfully finish this protocol don’t hate yourself if you miss a day or two Just make sure you don’t miss 3 days in a row.

Now that we have got the Mindset thing out of the way Let’s get started with the actionable advice.

STEP 1 — Decide a Timeframe

Monk Mode is an intense focus on your work and if you try to do it for a whole year You’ll burn yourself out. That’s why takes a short time span to do it intensely.

Iman Gadhzi who’s the creator of this framework recommends doing this for 3 weeks — 3 months. Not more than that And YES. You can go on multiple monk modes in a Year.

STEP 2 — Non-Negotiables

Non-Negotiables are those activities that you’ll do every day no matter what You might miss a day or two. But aim to do these every day. No matter what.

STEP 3 — Negotiables

Negotiables are activities that you can do in a lenient way. These are the activities that even if you don’t do them every day won’t matter much.

STEP 4 — Output Challenge

Create an Output Challenge for you This is a metric that you’ll use to track if your Monk Mode protocol is going well.

In the end, Remember that Monk Mode is only a tool And a tool is only as good as its wielder
