I recommended a list of books for overthinkers and it went viral and the post reached over 1M people on Instagram.

And this made me realize that Overthinking is a very big problem and people really want to solve it.

So, I thought why not write a detailed article expanding on the post.

Here is the list of books that you should definitely read if you’re an overthinker.

1. Soundtracks by Jon Acuff

This book is amusing, easy to read, and full of practical solutions to one of the most difficult obstacles to success that we all confront (Overthinking). Our own story is shattered. Acuff does an excellent job of assisting us in overcoming these challenges, not by ignoring them (because we all know that doesn’t work), but by converting a weakness into a strength.

2. Stop Overthinking by Nick Trenton

This book offers practical advice on slowing down fast-paced thinking and managing negative ideas, which we all seem to experience from time to time as a result of social media, job, stress, and other factors. This isn’t a groundbreaking book. However, the ideas and examples on how to de-stress and be softer on yourself are quite useful. This is a book you should have and seek out to help you relax and practice bettering your life.

3. How To Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie

The self-help classic by Dale Carnegie answers all your questions regarding how to stop worrying and stop overthinking.

The principles outlined in this book are still relevant today. Which should be enough to tell you how good this book is. If you have to pick any one book from this list, pick this one. It’s worth all the time and effort.
